Seriously, I'm interested in economics, politics, music, vidya, exercise, and books, and I can't figure out how people can just get together and "shoot the shit".

I go out with my friends to the pub and after about 30 minutes of catching up, i'm just bored. Everyone just wants to talk about fucking and complaining about work. That's fucking it, and no one is interested in anything else.

What do you talk about? Surely you cant just spend hours and hours "catching up".
